What's Fixed in RMT 3.0 - Build 40 - A?

Data Migration Tool The Data Migration Tool was crashing/broken in Build 40.  It is now fixed in Build 40 - A.


What's New in RMT 3.0 - Build 40?

Module Description
EQ Guild Dump Parser The Notes from EQ's Guild Dump will now be appended to the Player's Notes.
Class You can now add, edit, delete classes in RMT.
Level You can now add, edit, delete levels in RMT.
Tools Menu The Data Migration Tool, EQ Log Parser, Guild Dump Parser, Racalculate Raid Points have been moved to the new Tools Menu.
Ungroup All Attendees You can now ungroup all Attendees from the Tools menu.  Please note that the raid gets auto-saved after this operation is done.
Auto-Group There is now an option to automatically have RMT assign players to their previous group based on the following:
  1. Auto-group based on the last raid.
  2. Auto-group based on the last raid of the same zone.
Please note that the raid gets auto-saved after this operation is done.
Remove All Loot Awards You can now remove all Loots awarded to all the Attendees.  Please note that the raid gets auto-saved after this operation is done.
What's Fixed in RMT 3.0 - Build 40?
Module Description
Attributes Deleting a custom attribute from the Attribute window will now properly remove that attribute in the Attribute drop-down list in the Attendee window.




What's New in RMT 3.0 - Build 39?

Module Description
XML Import/Export RMT will now export and import XML files which can be used to share raid information with other officers in the guild or other raid leaders.  It can also be used to "clone" or copy a raid to be used as a starting point for a new raid (please be sure to delete any loot awards if you plan to rename the raid to a different name).

When importing an XML file, player notes are automatically added to any existing player notes (if they differ). Also, the total raid points is ignored, as it is dynamically calculated by RMT.

What's New in RMT 3.0 - Build 37?

Module Description
Loot Stats You can now type HTML code in the Loot Stats window.  This will allow you for instance reference an image of the loot stats (say from Everlore.com) instead of typing it.

A special thanks to Mayne of the E'ci Server for suggesting this feature about a year ago.

All Players The All Player's list is once again available.  You can hide (not delete) players from the All Players window.  Hidden players can be re-shown by selecting Show All Hidden Players from the drop down menu.  Once players are hidden they do not appear in the name drop down list while you are in the Attendee and Loot window and will remain so until you unhide them even after you migrate to newer versions of RMT.

Rename a Player You can now rename a player by going to the Edit menu or by right-clicking a player.  This feature only works if the new name does not already exist in any of the raids (meaning, it's a totally new name).

Attributes You can now easily, add, edit and delete attributes via the new Attributes window which can be accessed via the Edit menu.

NOTE:  Renaming/deleting existing attribute will not cause the current raid or previous raids to be modified in any way.

Open Raid Window Added 3 new columns: Loot, Grouped, Not Grouped.  This should make it easier to distinguish one raid from another.
Reset All Window Positions Hit Ctrl + W to reset all window positions to their default width and height.  You can also access this feature via the Windows menu.
Auto-Save RMT will now automatically save your work all the time.
Open Raid Window Added 4 new columns: Duration, Loot, Grouped, Not Grouped.  This should make it easier to distinguish one raid from another.
Data Migration Tool Updated to support the migrating/importing of Player Hidden Status.
What's Fixed in RMT 3.0 - Build 37?
Module Description
Notes You can now preview in HTML notes greater than 255 characters.
Data Migration Tool Clicking on the column header to sort will now sort the data correctly.

Right Click Support The long awaited right-mouse-click support is finally here.

Notes You can now store notes for each player which is remembered across all raids. You may type HTML codes in your notes and preview it as HTML.

Data Migration Tool Player Notes and Timers can now be imported from any previous version of RMT (including RMT 1.0).

View Menu The History menu has been replaced by a more generalized View menu which also introduces shortcut keys for Attendees (F5), Groups (F6), Loots (F7), Raid Points (F8), Notes (F9) and Timers (F12).

Module Description
RMT EQ-Log Parser RMT's real-time EQ-Log parser can now hide/show information from the log based on LFG status, specific Zones, Guilds or Chat Channel.

EQ Guild Dump Parser If you are using EQ's Guild Management Tool, you can now have RMT import the Guild Dump it produces. To do this, go to the File menu and select Import Guild Dump from EQ's Guild Management Tool.

Loot/Raid History The Export to Excel functionality is once again available. To use it, select a loot or player first (from any window), and go to the Report menu (it's the last 2 items in the report menu).

What's Been Fixed in RMT 3.0 - Build 33 - A?

Module Description
Raid Points Opening the Raid Points window crashes RMT when you have not earned any raid points for that raid (the raid was migrated from a previous version of RMT). This has been identified and fixed now. A special thanks to Carnos of the Kane Bayle server for helping to identify this bug.

What's New in RMT 3.0 - Build 32?

Module Description
Loot History You can now see all players who have been awarded a particular loot via the History menu (the Player menu has been renamed to History menu).
Recalculate Raid Points In the Help menu there is now an option to force RMT to recalculate all players' raid points across all raids.
Import EQ Players from EQ Log You can now import players by having RMT parse through your EQ Log in REAL TIME!

All players in the zone, LFG or not, will be picked up. Even players in channels! Linkdead folks are automatically ignored. Traders in Bazaars will automatically be ignored as well.

How to setup RMT to read your Log File in Real Time
  1. Log on to EQ and be sure that your log file contain today's logs. For instance, go to Nexus and type "/".
  2. Start RMT (Build 31 or higher), and create a new Raid.
  3. Go to the File Menu and select Import Players from EQ Log (or press Ctrl + G).
  4. Click the Browse button and browse to your character's EQ Log file.
  5. Sit back and relax as RMT parses through your log file in real time!
  6. Select the players you want to import.
  7. Click on the Import button to import the players to your raid.
  8. Optional Step. After you've browse through all the players, click the Mark All button. This turns all the players into color grey. This will make it easy for you to see new players that gets added in real time.
NOTE: Remember to type "/" in EQ periodically for RMT to pick up new players in the zone.
Timers (Untested) A early working state of the Timer feature is available for testing.

What's New in RMT 3.0 - Build 30?

Module Description
Historical Raid/Loot Window You can now open multiple Raid/Loot Historical Window, making it easier for you to compare side by side historical information of one attendee to another. (Shortcut Key is Ctrl + H.)
Web Product Update Notification If a new version of RMT 3.0 is available you will now be notified.
What's Been Fixed in RMT 3.0 - Build 30?
Module Description
Raid Points The sorting of the Earned and Total raid points will now be correct when you click on the column header (it is not treating the numbers as text like it used to).
Open Dialog Box Clicking on the Date column will now properly sort it ascending or descending. Thanks to Carnos of Kane Bayle Server for reporting this problem.

(Fix - If you received an early copy of Build 30, the Raid Points screen will no longer crash when you open it.)



What's New in RMT 3.0 - Build 29 (First Public Release)?

Resolution Resolution independence (will work with 640x480 or higher).
Interface Multiple Window Support (easily maximize, resize windows).
Report XML Export Support.
Architecture Component Object Model (COM) Architecture for those who know how to program. (Email me if you want to know more.)
Uninstallation Your RMT3.mdb will remain persistent even after you uninstall RMT (you will need to manually delete if you really want to get rid of it.)
Sample RMT3.mdb There is a sample raid file named RMT3_Sample.mdb you can use with the Data Migration Tool (Go to File -> Data Migrate from Previous Versions).
